Moodie and Parr Traill links
The National Library and Archives of Canada has a really nice website on Susanna Moodie and Catherine Parr Traill. It also has a helpful bibliography if you are interested in reading more about these two writers.
Over at Early Canadiana Online (www.canadiana.org) you will find a scanned copy of the first edition of Roughing it in the Bush. It's interesting just to take a look at what this book looked like when it first came out. The Backwoods of Canada is also there, published under the series title "The Library of Entertaining Knowledge."
